Reverend John Augustine Lubey

August 1, 1916 - July 27, 1999

Father Lubey was a priest in the Archdiocese of Washington, DC, from 1943 to 1999. He was well known for his Healing Ministry. He was gifted by the Holy Spirit and was a very holy man.

He often said of his healing ministry, "Everyone receives the healing love of the Lord in some way. .. The Lord is the Healer; I am the instrument in the hands of the Healer." **

Prayer for Father Lubey's Intercession

Heavenly Father, I thank you for the gift of your love. I thank you for giving Fr. Lubey to us as a priest and servant. He faithfully fulfilled and obeyed your command to love one another and brought healing and peace to the lives of many. I now pray, father, that you would listen to the petitions that I now ask through Fr. Lubey’s intercession, and if it be your holy will, please grant them.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
